Customer: Cayman Islands Humane Society

Project: Web Site Design

The Cayman Islands Humane Society includes 37 dog kennels, a puppy room, a surgery and recovery room, a large cat adoption room including a play room and quarantine areas. Above the shelter is our Book Loft and Thrift Shop. The shelter is run by a board of directors elected each year by members at the annual general meeting. We have 11 paid staff including an assistant shelter manager, a staff supervisor, a vet tech and approximately 5 animal care assistants. We are fortunate to have a team of committed volunteers working in essential areas – running the foster program, visiting adopters’ homes, dog walking, assisting in the thrift shop and book loft and, most importantly, raising funds for our activities.

Happy Customer:

The Cayman Islands Humane Society were in dire need of an up-to-date website. Doug and his team came to our rescue. We were looking for a website that showcased our animals available for adoption, raised funds for our work, and kept supporters coming back for more to learn more about our work.
Doug and his team at Silver City Design worked hard to get us a new logo and website suited to our needs. He helped us to learn how to upload information and media about new animals to the website and make links to our Facebook page. Thanks to the team we have a website perfect for our needs and we receive positive feedback from adopters and supporters who have used it.
